SIGNS: a short film by Patrick Hughes



SIGNS, a short film by Patrick Hughes that debuted at Cannes 4 years ago, is amazingly sweet, funny and touching. It tells the story of a lonely young man who falls in love with a cute girl. There's some lovely music and no dialogue, yet this is a movie that brings out so many emotions and you will definately find yourself smiling while watching it. You do not expect this from a first time director. This one came before Disney's PAPERMAN, and is one of the best short films i've ever seen.

 Patrick Hughes also directed the western thriller RED HILL and will be working with Sylvester Stallone and the rest of the crew in the new EXPENDABLES movie.
